The CIPM appoints Dr. Sang-Ryoul Park as the new President of the CCQM

As of March 2019, Dr. Sang-Ryoul Park, President of the KRISS, has been appointed as the new President of the Consultative Committee for Amount of Substance: Metrology in Chemistry and Biology (CCQM) for a four-year term.
Among 10 Consultative Committees (CC) under the CIPM, CCQM plays an important role in developing, improving and documenting the equivalence of national standards for chemical and biological measurements, and it has 11 working groups which specialize in such as protein analysis, gas analysis, cell analysis, and so on.
Dr. Park is an expert in protein analysis and has been working as the Chair of the CCQM Working Group on Protein Analysis(CCQM-PAWG) since 2015, and the CIPM Member as well since November 2018. He will also work as the deputy representative at the Joint Committee for Traceability in Laboratory Medicine (JCTLM).
