About Group

Single Electron Quantum Device Team aims to development of fermion quantum optics systems through quantum control/measurement technologies such as generation, control, manipulation of on-demand single-electron wave packet and tomography of single electron quantum-state, and to contribute to development of national quantum industries through high-precise single electron quantum technology.

Current R&D Projects

  • 1 Development of the on-demand single-electron source and platform for a precision measurement of the single-electron current
  • 2 Single-electron quantum-state tomography
  • 3 Development of a single-electron flying qubit

Recent R&D Highlights

  • Establishment of a platform for direct comparison of single-electron current with the quantum Hall resistance and Josephson voltage standards within Ohm’s law
  • Evaluation of single electron current at a level of 50 pA generated from a semiconducting quantum-dot single-electron source with an uncertainty of 0.3 x 10-6
