We welcome you to the 10th Workshop of APMP/TCQM Gas Analysis Working Group organized jointly by the Working Group and the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS).
The workshop will be held at Daejeon, Korea on May 21st (Mon) - 25th (Fri), 2012.
The workshop is entitled "Gas Metrology for Climate Change: from Air Pollution to Global Warming". Climate Change is a problem that is affecting people and the environment. The workshop will be a good opportunity to learn of the latest advances in gas metrology for air pollutant and greenhouse gases.
The kick-off on Monday and Tuesday will include training courses (paid program with certificate), covering safety for gas handling and production of gas certified reference material (CRM). A special program (guided tour) will on Wednesday. Scientific sessions on Thursday and Friday include invited talks and oral/poster presentations addressing national metrology institutes (NMIs) activities responding to climate change, analytical and monitoring methods for air pollution and greenhouse gases, and other issues related with gas analysis.
This will provide outstanding opportunities to engage with and learn from accomplished scientists that you don't want to miss.
English will be the official language of the workshop.
We look forward to greeting you in May at the 10th APMP/TCQM Gas Analysis Working Group Workshop.
See you in Korea!
