KRISS provides calibration and testing services to over 3,500 businesses to improve the quality of measurements in the Korean industry. These services mainly focused on high-precision instruments. Each part of the service process, from the receipt of the instruments, to the issue of the certificates, was operated and controlled using a web-based system. Based on our quality management policy for ensuring customer satisfaction, we guarantee that the calibration process will be completed within 15 days of receipt.
 
 
   
 

KRISS maintains world-class facilities, and offers testing services with the optimum reliability. Each year, we carry out hundreds of tests for manufacturing industry and others. We also deliver innovative, specialized testing services tailored to new and demanding applications, such as the evaluation of nano-materials.
   
 
 
   
 

Calibration service of measuring instrument is another form of collaboration with other NMIs.
KRISS offered calibration services of 140 instruments last year for the NMIs mainly in APMP regions in order to help them to establish metrological infrastructure.
   
 
   
 

Based on its world-class measurement capabilities, KRISS provides technical assistance and consultation services for Korean industry as well as for foreign companies. As part of our strategic industry support program, we carry out collaborative research and measurement clubs to improve industrial productivity and manufacturing processes.
   
 
   
 

KRISS established a technology transfer program in 2000 to facilitate research innovation from the bench to the market. The program focuses on the dissemination of measurement technology and the results of KRISSĄŻ R&D activities to both small and medium-sized enterprises to improve their quality systems and process controls.
