1) CGPM (General Conference on Weights and Measures) - Korea was affiliated to the CIPM in 1959. - KRISS has been participating in the CGPM activities as a member of the consultative committees of CCL (Consultative Committee for Length); CCT (Thermometry); CCPR (Photometry and Radiometry); CCTF (Time and Frequency); CCEM (Electricity and Magnetism); CCM (Mass and Related Quantities); CCQM (Amount of Substance); CCRI (Ionizing Radiation); and CCAUV (Acoustics, Ultrasound and Vibration).       2) APMP (Asia-Pacific Metrology Program) - KRISS was affiliated to the APMP in 1980 - KRISS has been participating in the activities of the APMP TC, including TCL (Technical Committee for Length); TCM (Mass and Related Quantities); TCTF (Time and Frequency); TCEM (Electricity and Magnetism); TCT (Thermometry); TCPR (Photometry and Radiometry); TCRI (Ionizing Radiation); TCQM (Amount of Substance); TCAUV (Acoustics, Ultrasound and Vibration); TCFF (Fluid Flow); and TCQS (Quality System).
