The Center for Vacuum Technology in KRISS establishes and maintains the national standards of vacuum, disseminates them to industry, and performs related researches, such as inter-comparison and quality assurance of vacuum components. This center has been established upon the frail state of the Korean vacuum and related industries with the purpose of the improvement, by domesticating vacuum devices and equipments through the provision of technology and technical data. Its roles include:
Establishment and Dissemination of the National Vacuum Standards;
Provision of the Technical Data of Vacuum Pumps, Gauges, Materials, Components, and Process Diagnostics; and,
Diffusion of the Technical Information on vacuum |
