  • The NanoBio Fusion Research Laboratory is responsible for developing novel methods to measure and manipulate single cells, tissues, biomaterials in biomolecular nano scale using nanotechnology based on laser, ion beams, and nanoprobes. Through new NanoBio methods, we expect that innovative scientific and technological biomedical realms will emerge. Our objectives and operations are as follows.

  • Developing real-time nano-scale biochemical mapping of living single cells and tissues Non-linear Raman spectroscopic CARS microscopy and its application on in-vivo biomedical diagnosis Scanning Ion Conductance Microscopy.

  • Nano/MassSpectrometric biochemical 3D analysis of single cells and tissues Nanobio-SIMS using clusterions Atmospheric MALDI imaging mass spectrometry.

  • Quantification of Biomaterials Surface and Interface Analysis High sensitive SPR/SE biomolecular mapping technology Standardization of XPS/SIMS/SPR biosurface analysis.

  • Cell based New Drug Screening Methodology Application of NanoBio Analysis Techniques for in-vivo/in-vitro Nanimal models Drug screening based on subcellular analysis.
