The Space Optics Research Center is responsible for developing the precision optical components and systems used in space industry. The center carries out research related to imaging optics which is essential to Information Technology as well as Nano-technology. The center’s objectives are as follows.
Development of space optics
- Production and assembly of space optical telescope
- Test of space electro-optical elements
Development of ultra-precision optical elements
- Production and Test of ultra precision aspheric optics
- Development of HOE(Holographic Optical Element)
Evaluation of optical imaging system
- Assembly and evaluation of lager aperture optical system
- Evaluation of high-resolution optical system
- Development and distribution of CRM (lens diopter, MTF, flatness, form, refractive index)
